Weighing in
at just 3 and a half pounds, the Compaq Evo N200 is a small
laptop for the mobile professional who requires a light,
compact notebook. This system is also suitable for college
students burdened by heavy text books, seeking a trim and tidy
mobile computer to lighten the load. The price is also light too,
at the time of this review (July 2004) we found one of these
compaq laptops for under 800 dollars at online hardware store
Tigerdirect. We consider this to be a pretty good
deal. Sporting a 20GB hard drive, Pentium III processor 56K modem, and Windows XP Professional operating system, the Evo N200 has all the specifications required of a laptop used for checking email, word processing and performs basic computer tasks quickly and efficiently. However it's small 10.4 inch screen doesn't make it ideal for using graphics software. In short If you want something very light, very compact and affordable for the road, you can't go far wrong with the Compaq Evo N200!
