California (San Jose to be exact) Acer proudly stands among the
world's top PC and notebook vendors. The Acer Group employs
almost 8000 people and supports dealers and distributors in over
100 countries. Global revenues reached 4.9 billion dollars in
2003 and in the recent Resellers' Choice Awards, Acer took top
honors in the notebook category, an achievement that is testimony
to the quality of their mobile computing technology. The Acer laptop product line includes a selection of TravelMate notebook computers, the Aspire series (complete with pen input) and the impressive Ferrari series. The Acer Ferrari series, not only shares a name with the legendary car manufacturer, but also boasts it's illustrious predecessors striking Ferrari red colour and Prancing Horse emblem. This series of notebook is outstanding in design, functionality and workmanship. Little wonder then that in 2004 Acer became the number one notebook vendor in Europe. Indeed in the second quarter of 2004 the company shipped almost half a million notebooks in Europe, an accomplishment that enabled them to dominate 16.7% of the market share. Acer though are not only concerned with chalking up record sales, but consider after customer care a big priority. The company has a 24 hour support call center in Texas, repair depot, and spare parts warehouse. Customers can rest assured that if a problem arises a team of highly trained specialists are waiting at the other end of the line, ready to answer any query or concern.
